Games between the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies have been filled with passion, fuel and dislike over the last half decade. When the two teams meet on Feb. 25, many of the players who shaped those battles won’t be on the floor.
The Grizzlies and Warriors will be in action at FedExForum (6:30 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network).
Ja Morant (left elbow sprain), Zach Edey (left ankle stress reaction) and Brandon Clarke (right calf strain) are among the players who won’t play for Memphis. Golden State will be without Steph Curry (knee) and Jimmy Butler (knee).
This will be the third meeting between the rivals this season. Golden State won both matchups and four in a row overall.
Ty Jerome is expected to play for Memphis after missing the last game due to an illness.
