Prandelli, a former Juve midfielder, says the Bianconeri need to rebuild with an Italian core.

He told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “At least two of Sandro Tonali (Newcastle), Gianluigi Donnarumma (Manchester City) and Riccardo Calafiori (Arsenal).”

At the same time, the former Fiorentina coach emphasises that it is not just about new signings.

He believes that the club must also build on the squad that already exists and create continuity.

“After strengthening the team with Kenan Yildiz, I would immediately extend Luciano Spalletti, Dušan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie if I were at the club. A way of saying: ‘here is the foundation, we will take the rest later’,” added Prandelli.
