Mary Berry, 90, looks so youthful in incredible unearthed photos

Many people across the nation were introduced to Mary Berry when she became one of the original judges on The Great British Bake Off. Although the show is now firmly in Mary’s past, one thing that’s clear is that the 90-year-old has always been a foodie.
Back in 1975, the cooking legend was part of a panel that tasted sausages at the now defunct Marine Ices in Camden. Mary was joined by housewife Rita Peduzz and hotel inspector John Carew as they sampled the sausages.
While Mary was still sporting her signature bob back in the 1970s, she still looked so young as she tucked into the sausages.
Photos taken two years later showed the future Bake Off judge joining Len Moss from the Meat Traders and Squadron leader W. Bill Gosden as they indulged in taste-testing a set of mince and crisps.

The 1970s was a time that Mary looks back on fondly, sharing photos from the decade on her social media pages in the past. In one image, she could be seen showing her children, Annabel, Thomas and William, how to bake in the kitchen.
The previous decade was also memorable for the mother of three, who walked down the aisle with husband Paul Hunnings in 1966. The popular baker previously shared images from her wedding, showing a glimpse of her vintage bridal look – a glorious long-sleeved satin creation complete with a lace band and a long train.

Reflecting on her wedding day in an episode of Mary Berry Everyday, the TV star said: “My dress was bought in the sale – £5, you know, bargain wasn’t it?”
Bake Off replacement
Mary didn’t make the move to Channel 4 when The Great British Bake Off moved to the network in 2017. The star was replaced by Prue Leith, who recently announced that she was stepping down from the show, with Nigella Lawson set to replace her.
At an event hosted by the Radio Times, Mary shared her joy that Nigella would be joining the Bake Off family. “I’ve also recently heard Nigella Lawson is the new Bake Off judge, and I’m absolutely delighted,” she said. “It will give Bake Off a wonderful new flavour, and Paul and her will get on like a house on fire.
She added: “The skill to be the judge and to be fair, be kind and encourage everyone to enjoy baking.”
