Meghan Markle’s mask slips with Harry after Sussexes ‘outdo’ William and Kate | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

TalkTV presenter Kevin O’Sullivan addressed the Sussexes latest trip abroad with royal biographer Angela Levin, who suggested the couple had attempted to “one up” the Prince and Princess of Wales. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in Jordan for a two-day visit to suppot refugees in the region.

The couple began their trip with a roundtable summit discussion hosted by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The Sussexes later met with children undergoing treatment at the private Specialty Hospital in Amman, including young patients who had been evacuated from Gaza. The couple later joined young girls for a football session, with Meghan trimuphantly scoring a goal.

During the candid moment, Angela claimed Meghan’s mask slipped while playing football alongside her husband.

Speaking on Wednesday’s show, Angela said: “I saw a little bit when she was watching Harry who was kicking a ball around.”

The royal biographer claimed: “She obviously didn’t like it because she took the ball away and started trying to kick it herself.

“They [feel they] can do much better than William and Catherine. Everyone smiles at them.”

Angela suggested: “I think they are presenting themselves that they are much better than the other couple.”

In the footage Harry and Meghan looked to be in good spirits as they enjoyed a game of football together and later took penalties on the pitch.

Kevin suggested that when the Prince and Princess of Wales step out for an event it appears to be “triggering” for the Sussexes.

He claimed their visit to Jordan was a response to William’s trip to Saudi Arabia earlier this month.

Angela also claimed the Sussexes “want to do better than the Wales'” when she referred to Princess Kate being brought up in Jordan as a young child.

In 1984, the Middleton family moved to Jordan after her father Michael was relocated to Amman for work.

Kate was just two years old when they moved to Jordan and was sent to an English-language nursery school along with 100 other children aged three to five from Jordan, Britain, Japan, India, Indonesia and America.

In addition William and Kate were surprise guests at the wedding of the Crown Prince in 2023.
