Former Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley has a lengthy history, meaning he knows which golf courses have the best food and benefits for the players.

Bradley is a one-time major winner with eight PGA tour titles and has been a professional for 18 years, but in recent history he is known for losing to Europe on home soil, which he said was one of the darkest moments of his career. “Memorial,” responded Bradley. “Which is Jack Nicklaus’ tournament. The best by far.”

The Memorial tournament was founded and hosted by Nicklaus and was incepted in 1976, while Nicklaus also owns a major golf course design company.

“Not even Augusta?” asked Edelman in disbelief. “Augusta’s good…” said Bradley with hesitation.

“That fried chicken there…” said Edelman,.

The food at Augusta National, host of the annual Masters tournament, is widely praised by attendees. A key reason for this appreciation is the consistently low pricing, such as the pimento cheese sandwich which cost just $1.50 in 2025.

“What’s really good [at Augusta] is the bacon,” said Bradley. “So what’s at Memorial that makes it so good?” asked Edelman.

“They just treat us so good there,” said Bradley. “We can go in there and eat dinner. We get to order a steak and it comes out. It’s just, it’s really great.”

“Don’t they have those milkshakes?” asked the producer behind the camera.

“So the milkshakes are the really good thing about Memorial,” replied Bradley, nearly drooling.

“You have to go by it as you walk out, so everytime you know your like ‘I’m not getting one today.’”

“What makes the milkshake so good?” Edelman asked.

“He makes his own ice cream like they do everything there to the max.”
