Princess Beatrice finally breaks cover after dad Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest

Princess Beatrice has finally broken her cover following the arrest of her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, on 19 February.

The eldest daughter of Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson was seen out in London with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and a small group of friends. Beatrice was pictured wearing a long blue overcoat and matching scarf and she carried a small cup of coffee with her in a blue cup. Beatrice also wore a set of black tights and pumps.

The mother-of-two was seen with her diamond wedding ring as her husband walked behind her in a blue suit, carrying an umbrella.

In the photos, Beatrice could be seen in deep conversation with curator Carrie Scott, while Edoardo and Carrie’s partner, Nick Lazarus, followed the pair closely.

Eugenie breaks cover

Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, was seen earlier in the week as she headed out to Notting Hill alongside her husband, Jack Brooksbank.

The royal was seen wearing leggings, sneakers, a black sweatshirt with neon lettering and a jacket. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail, and she also wore a cap. Her husband also dressed casually, in sneakers and a wool hat to ward off the chilly London winter.

Princess Eugenie appeared relaxed, as a source close to her told People: “She was chatting with someone she knew and seemed very relaxed. It was all very informal. She was laughing and joking. She looked happy and at ease, not like someone trying to hide.”

Princess Eugenie ordered takeaway coffee from a place called Hagen Espresso Bar and spoke with a friend before returning to the black SUV in which she and her husband departed.

Andrew’s arrest

Beatrice’s father was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office last week, with police arriving at his new Wood Farm home in the early hours of the morning, which also coincided with the disgraced royal’s 66th birthday.

Andrew was held for 11 hours before being released, although he remains under investigation.

King Charles and Buckingham Palace weren’t notified in advance that an arrest would be made, and the monarch later released a statement saying that “the law must take its course”. HELLO! understands that the Prince and Princess of Wales support the statement.
