Anthony Richardson’s NFL combine records broken by Taylen Green

Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green just broke two NFL combine records that had been held by Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson.
Richardson, a member of the 2023 NFL draft class, set combine records at the quarterback position with a 40.5″ vertical and a 10’9″ broad jump. However, Green broke both those marks on Saturday.
Green recorded a 43.5″ vertical and an 11’2″ broad jump — clearing Richardson’s marks by a good margin.
Green is listed at 6-6, 235 pounds. Richardson currently measures in at 6-4, 244 pounds.
This past season, Green completed 60% of his passes for 2,714 yards with 19 touchdowns to 11 interceptions. He also rushed for nearly 1,000 yards as well.
Green is currently ranked as the seventh-best quarterback in this year’s draft on Jordan Reid’s big board. Richardson was the fourth overall pick by the Colts in the 2023 NFL draft.
The Colts, however, have agreed to work with Richardson to faciliate a trade this offseason.
Overall, Richardson posted a perfect Relative Athletic Score in 2023, which included a 4.43-second 40-yard dash. Green is on his way to an impressive score of his own.
