Blues activate forward Robert Thomas, designate Robby Fabbri as non-roster

After taking a temporary leave of absence from the team due to a personal matter on Feb. 25, the forward has been activated ahead of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Wild.

In a corresponding move, forward Robby Fabbri has been designated as non-roster.

With his 11 goals and 22 assists in 42 games this season, and the Blues sitting 31st in the NHL, Thomas has been a popular name in the rumour mill ahead of the March 6 NHL trade deadline.

Thomas signed an eight-year, $65-million extension with the Blues in 2022, and his no-trade clause kicked in at the beginning of this season.

The 26-year-old is also unwilling to say if he’d waive his no-trade clause.
