Australian singer and actor Jason Donovan says his latest run of shows will be “the finale” of his current tour.
The ’80s star, known for his role in Neighbours and a string of UK chart hits, said the concerts offered fans their “last chance” to see him perform in this way.
Donovan, 57, will tour the UK with his Doing Fine Encore show, with dates in the South East including Folkestone in Kent. He is also set to reprise his role as Dr Frank‑N‑Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show when it returns to theatres, including in Eastbourne, later this year.
He said that “nothing has changed except my age”, adding that some previously cancelled dates prompted him to commit to the final run.
