Joan Laporta, Víctor Font and Marc Ciria are the three members who have surpassed the minimum of 2,337 signatures required in order to become candidates for the FC Barcelona presidency, pending the outcome of the signature verification process, which will conclude on Thursday 5 February.
Once the signature collection period ended, Xavier Vilajoana, Daniel Juan and William Maddock failed to reach the minimum number of signatures required to stand as candidates in the 15 March elections.
Laporta submitted the highest number of signatures, with a total of 8,169 forms, followed by Font, who submitted 5,144, and Ciria, who gathered 2,844. Vilajoana, meanwhile, submitted a total of 1,593 forms; Juan, 84; and Maddock, 9. None of the three reached the required minimum.
