Jaida Parker is about to learn why Blake Monroe ain’t the one to mess with

Blake Monroe took the fight to Jaida Parker, her poise turning to venom after Parker crossed the line.

Speaking Tuesday on NXT, Monroe reminded fans how Parker targeted the former NXT Women’s North American Champion to boost her own relevance. Now, in a twist of charity, Monroe agreed to share her spotlight with Parker in a match at Vengeance Day before moving on to NXT’s next premium live event.

Parker, again seeking to steal Monroe’s shine, interrupted “The Glamour,” bothered at being told what she needed to do.

“What I need to do is slap the taste out of your mouth,” Parker threatened. But rather than be about it, she rambled for nearly two minutes, cutting Monroe off and ending with a crude jab.

Monroe responded the only way that mattered. Instead of issuing empty threats, Monroe slapped her face, igniting a brawl. Granted, Monroe took her lumps. Still, she stood her ground.

Later in the show, Monroe appeared on the announcer’s desk, unbroken, and threw down the gauntlet, calling for a Street Fight at Vengeance Day.

Parker emerged from the dressing room, popping off before stepping into the ring, where Monroe was quick to greet her. Before they could go any further, the ladies were separated by referees and peers, but Monroe had made her point.

Now, Parker is set to find out she bit off more than she can chew. In another life, the former Mariah May proved her mettle through timeless battles in AEW. Monroe is not afraid to bleed and pay the price, even if it means being banished into exile and compromised to a permanent end.

Fans will find out on Saturday if Ms. Parker has the courage to face such a fate.
