Aaron Rodgers goes scorched earth on ‘crazy’ ex-girlfriends

Aaron Rodgers had some choice words for his former flames.
The now-married 42-year-old quarterback, who gushed over his “private” wife, Brittani, during an appearance Wednesday on “The Pat McAfee Show,” trashed his famous ex-girlfriends for leading him into a public lifestyle he claims he wasn’t interested in.
Rodgers said he originally met his wife in 2017, but she “moved across the pond” before he entered into a series of relationships that went sour.

“I got myself into crazy town,” Rodgers said, “and I was with individuals who called the paparazzi, who leaked or talked about where I was living, who coerced me to make the proverbial Instagram, social media posts. I never really wanted to live a public life. If you look at the saga with my family, for years it was one-sided. They were making shots in the media saying bulls–t. I never said anything until it got to the point that, all right, enough is enough. … I’m not a social media guy anymore.”
While Rodgers did not mention names, some of his famous exes include Olivia Munn, Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley.
Rodgers and Munn were first linked in 2014. The Super Bowl winner and actress broke up in 2017, predating when he says he met his wife.

He then started dating the former race car driver Patrick in 2018, and she was very active in posting photos of the couple. They called it quits in 2020.
Rodgers and the actress Woodley were confirmed to be engaged as of February 2021. They broke off their engagement a year later.
In a 2024 interview with Outside magazine, Woodley described her relationship with Rodgers as a “toxic situation.”
Patrick similarly said she had a negative experience dating Rodgers during an appearance last year on “The Sage Steele Show,” stating “the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing.”

Rodgers’ wife, he says, is not interested in living the “WAG life.”
“I lived that life. I didn’t like it. I dealt with it, I didn’t like it. Now I’m out of it and I don’t want to be back in it. I don’t want to be a part of that. I understand when I play, if I play, there’s scrutiny. There’s attention that comes with it. But I’m fully content on living a private life,” said Rodgers, who allowed Netflix to follow him around for a 2024 documentary about the longtime Packer called “Enigma.”
