UPDATE: 21-year-old motorcyclist found dead after crash in Abilene

Abilene Police was notified of a possible motorcycle crash in the 3100 block of Dub Wright Boulevard Tuesday morning after a person noticed a motorcycle laying in a field along the roadway.

The rider was identified as 21-year-old Devinn Wall of California.

APD said he was heading north when the crash occurred. The Abilene Police Department said that speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash.

Police said the Wall was found dead at the scene.

APD said that based on the state of the body, Wall was likely laying in the field unnoticed for some time.
