KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Iowa State women’s basketball had to wait around to see who its first opponent at the Big 12 Tournament would be.

Iowa State (22-8 overall, 10-8 Big 12) will take on Arizona State in the second round of the Big 12 Tournament at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo., on Thursday, March 5. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CT.
The Cyclones earned a first-round bye at the tournament after wrapping up the regular season with a 93-79 victory over Kansas State on March 1. Audi Crooks scored 41 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the win.
The Sun Devils took down Arizona on Wednesday to earn a spot in the second round.
