HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) – Police in Hattiesburg are looking for a person of interest in their investigation into multiple commercial burglaries in the city.
The police department is asking for the public’s help in locating 27-year-old Eddie McCormick of Laurel.

According to police, the burglaries took place in the 100 block of Industrial Drive on Dec. 14, 2025, Jan. 18, 2026 and Feb. 15, 2026.
Detectives are looking to speak with McCormick regarding the burglaries.
Anyone with information on McCormick’s whereabouts or information about the burglaries is asked to contact the police department at 601-544-7900 or submit a tip through Crime Stoppers by calling or texting “**TIPS,” or by clicking HERE.
