WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Forget cake—Florida is celebrating America’s 250th with $1M jackpots. The new series proves that in the “Free State,” patriotism comes with a payout.
According to the Florida Lottery, the specialty ticket, AMERICA 250 FLORIDA, spotlights Florida’s historic role in America from its early days as a gateway to the New World to its modern identity as the “Free State of Florida.”
The game has three patriotic tickets: “Find Your Own Fountain of Youth,” “Gulf of America,” and “Free State of Florida.”

Lottery officials say the scratch-off offers multiplier opportunities and an instant-win $250 prize feature. Players have a chance to win up to a $1 million top prize. According to the Lottery, more than 3.9 million winning tickets are available statewide, with overall odds of winning at 1 in 4.01.
