Severe Storms Turn Deadly In Midwest: Mother And Daughter Killed As Tornado Strikes In Northwest Oklahoma

Widespread severe weather across the Midwest has turned deadly in Oklahoma. Local reports say a mother and daughter were killed after their vehicle was hit by a tornado near Fairview, Oklahoma, Thursday night.
The Major County Sheriff’s Office told KOCO News that the woman was driving near State Highway 60 and 243 when the vehicle was struck.
Video shared by Fairview Emergency Management appears to show that same tornado as it moved west of Fairview, with lightning illuminating the large twister.
Storm chasers also shared video of overturned mobile homes and damaged houses in parts of Cleo Springs and Helena, Oklahoma.
At least three tornadoes were sighted or confirmed by radar late Thursday in the Texas Panhandle, northwest Oklahoma and southern Kansas.
