Jets ship Pearson to Sabres for 7th-rounder

The Winnipeg Jets are dealing forward Tanner Pearson to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round pick, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger.

Pearson, 33, has seven goals and six assists for 13 points in 52 games so far this season for Winnipeg.

A veteran of 13 NHL seasons, Pearson has spent time with the Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks, Vegas Golden Knights, Montreal Canadiens and Pittsburgh Penguins before joining the Jets this past summer on a one-year deal.

He has 157 goals and 325 points in 774 career regular season games.
