Dennis Quaid’s Dog Peaches Is An Unbothered Queen on TODAY — And Anchors Can’t Stop Laughing
Dennis Quaid’s beloved dog, Peaches, is enjoying life in the spotlight.
The English bulldog was an unbothered queen as she appeared alongside the actor during his Friday, March 6 appearance on TODAY.
Welcoming back Quaid and Peaches to the show, Al Roker jokingly asked, “Did we do something to offend, Peaches?” The wide camera angle showed the dog sitting far away from her owner and the anchors while staring off into the distance.
“Yeah,” Quaid replied, telling his trusty sidekick, “forget the side eye, Peaches. What is that?”
Peaches, who instantly stole the show, looked unfazed sitting on the far end of the couch with her adorable peach-patterned bandana.
Al, along with Craig Melvin and Savannah Sellers, began cracking up over Peaches’ carefree facial expression.
“Clearly Peaches is upset about something,” Craig said, as Al bent over with laughter.
“She looked over,” chimed in Al after Peaches finally turned her head toward them.
As her famous dad talked about his latest project, action movie “War Machine,” he also said that he watches TODAY “every morning.” He added, “So does Peaches.”
“I don’t think she does,” Al playfully said, as the camera panned to the pup, who still paid no mind to the conversation.

The ultimate professional, Peaches continued to lounge as Quaid did his interview. After the anchors thanked him and his canine companion for being on the show, Quaid asked, “Peachy, you glad to be here?”
When she looked over at Quaid, everyone began to chuckle again.
Quaid noted she might just be more interested in treats and burgers.
The day before, Quaid posted an Instagram video showcasing “a day in the life” of his furry friend.
In the clip, Peaches is seen independently making her way through an airport, on the moving walkway and down the escalator. She then takes a quick tinkle before jumping into her private car and finally relaxing after her long day.
Peaches is no stranger to making live appearances on TODAY. She and Quaid were previously on the show on March 19, 2025, when the actor was promoting his true crime series “Happy Face.”
That time, Peaches was given her own chair next to Quaid.

Once again, the TODAY anchors, including Al, were all smiles to have Peaches’ serious and sweet face in their presence.
“Peaches, good morning to you, as well,” said Laura Jarrett. “We can’t leave her out. I think her face just about sums it all up.”
“She’s very impressed,” quipped Al.
