Meghan Markle’s As Ever Brand Cuts Ties With Netflix

Meghan Markle’s As Ever brand is no longer working with Netflix. “As ever is grateful for Netflix’s partnership through launch and our first year. We have experienced meaningful and rapid growth and As ever is now ready to stand on its own,” a spokesperson for the brand said today. “We have an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to share more.”
Netflix added, “Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life. As it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world.” T&C understands the split was amicable.
As Ever, which launched in 2025, was supported by Netflix. The streamer was “not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business, which was huge,” Meghan said last year. The brand was also linked to her series with Netflix, With Love, Meghan, which last aired a holiday special in December with no current plans for more seasons.
Meghan and Prince Harry now have a first-look deal with Netflix, which was signed in August. “We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand,” Meghan said in a statement at the time. “My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.”
In October, Meghan spoke about the deal, explaining, “The extension of it, which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership, was now being in a first look deal, which is also exciting because it gives us flexibility to go to our partners first and then at the same time to be able to shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix, but has a home somewhere else.”
The Sussexes are reportedly developing a film based on Carley Fortune’s novel Meet Me At The Lake, but there have been no updates as of late. Outside of Netflix, they recently executive produced a documentary, Cookie Queens, which premiered at Sundance in January.
