Iowa State coach Bill Fennelly talks about his team as they get ready for the Big 12 Tournament.
Through the work done in the regular season, Iowa State women’s basketball earned a bye in the opening round of this week’s Big 12 Tournament.
But now, the Cyclones’ opponent for the second round has been set.
Bill Fennelly and his team will take on Arizona State at 5:30 p.m. CT on Thursday from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. The Sun Devils took down Arizona, 54-51, in the opening round Wednesday night.
It will mark the second meeting between the two teams this season. Iowa State defeated Arizona State, 90-64, in Ames on Feb. 18.
