Jennifer Lopez is sharing some very rare comments about her divorce from Marc Anthony.

If you didn’t know, the 56-year-old “Let’s Get Loud” singer and the 57-year-old Latin superstar were married from 2004 to 2014 and share 18-year-old twins Max and Emme.

During her Friday night (March 6) performance of her Las Vegas residency, Jennifer looked back at her “very tough” split from Marc.

Keep reading to find out more…“After my third divorce, that’s when I really started getting good at it,” Jennifer joked, as seen in a video shared on Instagram. “Seriously, that’s not funny. That’s not funny.”

“It was actually a really tough time,” she continued. “I was really about to give up on it all. I mean, I was a single mom with two 3-year-old twins and I called up one of my mentors. Her name was Louise Hay. Some of you might know who she was. She passed away.”

In Jennifer‘s time of need, the renowned self-help author knew exactly what the entertainer needed.

“She said to me, ‘Jennifer, you’re a dancer, right?’” the Kiss of the Spider Woman actress recalled. “I said, ‘Yes, I am.’ And she said, ‘When you’re learning a dance, and you get the steps wrong, what do you do?’ I said, ‘I just keep going until I get the steps right.’ And she said, ‘That’s right, Jennifer. Always keep dancing.’”

Jennifer then encouraged the audience to live by that motto.

“And I wish the same for every last one of you,” she said, “that no matter what life throws at you, that you dance, and you dance, and you dance—again, and again, and again. I love you so much!”

Before Marc, Jennifer was married to first husband Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998 then to Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003. Then in 2022, she married Ben Affleck, and they settled their divorce in 2025.
