‘It was awesome!’ Midlands man wins $2 million lottery

BISHOPVILLE, S.C. (WIS) – A Bishopville man won $2 million after a spontaneous ticket purchase.
“It was awesome!” he said of the windfall.
The lottery winner bought the winning ticket at the B & R Market on East Church Street in Bishopville.
While the man doesn’t want to be named, said he’s the same person he was before buying the $20 scratch-off
“I’m still working,” he told lottery officials. “But it feels good just to have it.
The winner beat the 1 in 1,480,000 odds in the 200X game. Four more top prizes of $2 million remain in the game.
For selling the claimed ticket, B & R Market in Bishopville received a commission of $20,000.
