The Vandals advanced to the Big Sky Conference Tournament semifinals for the first time in four years.
Idaho will play the winner of Idaho State and Sacramento State, which will be played at 11 a.m. Pacific on Monday.
Idaho’s game against the winner of that game will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pacific back at Idaho Central Arena.
Moving forward, Moreira called this a very self-motivated team.
“You’re just taking it game by game, every game is your championship game,” Moreira said. “Every game is an opportunity that would have to stay together for one more day, one more practice, one more game. So I feel like at this point in the season, I don’t have to talk into motivating them, it’s very self-motivating.
“You’re playing for a championship, playing in a beautiful arena, you’re playing for a chance to compete in the NCAA Tournament.”
