Final Grizzlies-Nets Injury Report: Will Michael Porter Jr., Ty Jerome Play?

The Brooklyn Nets are at home on Monday night as they host the Memphis Grizzlies in an interconference matchup.

In Saturday’s victory over the Pistons, Michael Porter Jr. led the way for the Nets as he recorded 30 points and 13 rebounds while Ziaire Williams added 23 points and four rebounds of his own off the bench.
Now Brooklyn will try to grab another victory at home on Monday as they face off against a struggling Grizzlies team.
On the other side, Memphis enters Monday’s contest with a 23-39 record after losing at home to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night.

Ty Jerome led the way for the Grizzlies in Saturday’s loss as he ended the game with 23 points and seven assists while Taylor Hendricks recorded 18 points and four rebounds off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Grizzlies, they have 10 players listed on their injury report, including both Jerome and Cedric Coward.

Memphis has listed Jerome as doubtful due to right calf injury management and he is expected to sit out the first game of their back-to-back.
The Grizzlies have also listed Coward as doubtful due to right knee injury management and he is also expected to miss Monday’s game.

Scotty Pippen Jr. is doubtful with right great toe soreness while Hendricks is doubtful due to right thumb soreness and both players are expected to sit out the first game of the Grizzlies’ back-to-back.

Ja Morant, Zach Edey, Brandon Clarke, Santi Aldama and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope have been ruled out as they continue to recover from injuries while Taj Gibson is out due to return to competition reconditioning.
Nets Injury Report: Will Michael Porter Jr., Egor Demin Play?
On the other side, the Nets have three players listed on their injury report, including both Porter Jr. and Egor Demin.

Brooklyn has ruled out Porter Jr. due to rest as they will elect to sit him on the first night of their back-to-back which will be his first missed game since February 11.

With Porter Jr. sidelined, Williams, Ochai Agbaji and Danny Wolf could all be in line for increased roles.

The Nets have also ruled out Demin due to left plantar fascia injury management as he will miss his fifth straight game while Drake Powell has been listed as probable and is expected to play despite dealing with back tightness.
