Major delays are expected on the A417 Reading Road through West Hendred, near Wantage, from next Monday (March 16) as major roadworks begin.
Four-way traffic lights will be installed for the next 10 weeks, due to last until the middle of May, and will operate everyday from 7am until 8pm.

The works are being managed by Oxfordshire County Council to install a new signal-controlled pedestrian crossing, bus stop and walkway in Reading Road.
A section of the road by the junction with The Greenway, opposite The Extraordinary Hare pub, will be controlled by the traffic lights.
The roadworks are expected to clear on May 22 at 5.30pm, according to the county council.
