Hispanic Journalist Salinas reflects on Cronkite award; New pediatric pain suite; Summer camps

On this episode of “Arizona Horizon,” María Elena Salinas, recipient of the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism discussed her accomplishment. The Cronkite Award, which was named for the late CBS News anchor, honors notable journalists and media executives, highlighting their achievements and leadership.

Also, Dr. Sean Gamble, the pediatric anesthesiologist at Phoenix Children’s joined to discuss a new Interventional Pain Procedural Suite, a groundbreaking model of care.

Finally, we reported of how “Super Why” is inspiring Arizona summer camp curriculums. The show is dedicated to teaching children how to read.
