Falcons to sign former Giants EDGE to 1-year deal in free agency

The Atlanta Falcons are signing former Giants edge rusher Azeez Ojulari to a one-year deal, according to a report from NFL Network insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. The former University of Georgia standout appeared in three games last season for the Philadelphia Eagles before going on the injured reserve list.
Ojulari, 25, was drafted by the New York Giants in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Over his five-year career, he has recorded 113 total tackles (61 solo), 22 sacks and 38 QB hits in 49 career games (32 starts). Ojulari’s best season came during his rookie year in 2021, recording a career-high eight sacks for the Giants.
