Parts of I-75 to be closed during President Trump’s visit

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Your drive home from work Wednesday could be impacted by President Donald Trump’s visit to the Tri-State.

Cincinnati police shared a message from the Secret Service about expected traffic impacts.

“Portions of I-75 within the Greater Cincinnati area will be closed throughout the day and are expected to impact the evening rush hour,” the message reads. “Residents and visitors in the area are encouraged to consider alternative routes when available.”

Further traffic impacts were not mentioned.

President Trump will make two stops in the area Wednesday.

He is scheduled to tour the ThermoFisher Scientific facility, a pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, at 2:30 p.m. in Reading, according to White House officials.

The president will then head to Hebron, where White House officials said he will do a podcast interview at 4 p.m. before delivering remarks and departing for a return to Washington D.C.
