All schools in Anglophone School District West, save for those in the northern part of the district, are closing three hours early Wednesday.
District communications manager Paul MacIntosh, in an email sent to parents and guardians of students Wednesday morning, announced that all schools in weather zones 3 through 9 will close three hours early.

Excluded from the closures are schools in zones 1 and 2, which cover Edmundston, Grand Falls, Plaster Rock and Perth-Andover.
“For example, if your child’s school normally dismisses at 3:30 p.m., it will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. If dismissal is normally 2:45 p.m., it will dismiss at 11:45 a.m.,” MacIntosh wrote.
“Parents of elementary-school students may receive additional communication from their school regarding dismissal arrangements.”
