Former Dolphins cornerback signs with AFC West team in free agency

The Miami Dolphins entered this offseason with several cornerbacks hitting free agency when the new league year officially started on Wednesday.
On Thursday, the first of them left for another team, as NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that cornerback Kader Kohou is signing with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kohou, 27, signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2022 following a six-year stay at Texas A&M-Commerce, where he earned All-LSC honors twice and won a national championship.
In his first three seasons, Kohou appeared in 47 games and started 38 while recording 180 tackles, 28 passes defensed, five quarterback hits, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and two interceptions.
Kohou missed the entire 2025 season with a torn ACL that he suffered in training camp.
