The Washington Commanders only had one running back on the roster, Bill Croskey-Merritt who will be entering his second season. Now he’s got some company after Rachaad White reportedly agreed to terms on a 1-year deal. White was a third-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022. He played at Arizona State with Jayden Daniels for his final two years in college(2020-21), and will now get another chance to be in the backfield with him. White started 48 regular season games for the Bucs, including 8 last season. His best NFL season was 2023 when he started all 17 games, rushing 272 times for 990 yards and 6 TDs. He also had 64 receptions for 549 yards and 3 TDs.
