Fox has moved Wednesday’s broadcast of the World Baseball Classic game between Italy and Mexico — the result of which directly impacts Team USA’s fate — from the free streaming app Tubi to FS1, making the contest available to fans with cable, multi-channel streaming services or satellite access.
The 7 p.m. ET game gained new relevance for fans after Team USA’s stunning 8-6 loss to Italy on Tuesday.

When Italy and Mexico play Wednesday evening in the Pool B finale, here are the scenarios at play, per The Athletic’s Johnny Flores:
The easiest path for Team USA to advance to the quarterfinals:
• If Italy wins, then the U.S. is in as the No. 2 seed.
Anything less and things get more complicated, due to the pool-play tiebreaker (assuming the Italy-Mexico game does not go to extra innings):
• If Mexico wins while scoring four or fewer runs, then Team USA is eliminated. Mexico will be the No. 1 seed and Italy the No. 2 seed.
• If Mexico scores five or more runs in a win, then Italy would be eliminated. The U.S. would then be the No. 1 seed and Mexico the No. 2.
In other pool-play finales: Canada-Cuba will air at 3 p.m. ET on FS2. The Dominican Republic vs. Venezuela game will air at 8 p.m. ET on Tubi.
