TEAM NEWS | Five changes for Oxford United clash

Nathan Jones has picked the same side that beat Birmingham City last weekend for today’s visit to Oxford United (KO 12.30pm GMT).

It means five changes from the team that earned a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough in midweek with Kayne Ramsay, Lloyd Jones, Amari’i Bell, Lyndon Dykes and Tyreece Campbell replacing Keenan Gough, Conor Coady, Macaulay Gillesphey, Miles Leaburn and Charlie Kelman, who move to the bench.

There is also a place on the bench for Thomas Kaminski, who returns after missing the last three fixtures with a hamstring injury.

Ramsay, Jones and Bell will likely start in a back three in front of Will Mannion.

Harry Clarke and Luke Chambers are expected to once again operate as wing-backs with Conor Coventry, Sonny Carey and skipper Greg Docherty making up a midfield three behind Dykes and Campbell. 

Joe Rankin-Costello, Jayden Fevrier and Ibrahim Fullah join Kaminski, Gillesphey, Coady, Gough, Leaburn and Kelman on the substitutes bench.

Update: 12.07pm – Miles Leaburn replaced Lyndon Dykes in the lineup with the striker missing out due to illness. Zach Mitchell came in to take Leaburn’s place on the substitutes bench.
