Stuart Pearce’s loyalties may lie with Manchester City, but even the pundit couldn’t mask his belief that Arsenal will win the Premier League title.

Matchday 30 delivered the Premier League action Arsenal fans had been dreaming of, as for the second matchweek running, the Gunners won, and Man City dropped points.

The roles have reversed as it’s now Pep Guardiola’s side who are dropping points in pivotal moments, giving Arsenal a 97% chance of winning the title.

While there was elation in North London, over at the London Stadium, Man City left the pitch dejected, something that caught Stuart Pearce’s attention when covering the matchweek on Premier League Productions.

Stuart Pearce has noticed Manchester City’s frustration while Arsenal look strong in Premier League title race

When analysing what unfolded on matchday 30, Pearce shared that Man City are carrying a frustration that he’s noticed both on and off the pitch.

“I’m seeing a lot of frustration, not just after the game panned out as a 1-1; I’m seeing a lot of frustration with the Manchester City players, with Haaland, with the way they’re playing.”

The pundit then said it how it is, that Man City just aren’t showing the quality that Arsenal are in the title race.

“They’ve dropped too many points; they’ve not been playing consistently well enough to put real pressure on Arsenal.”

He then concluded by sharing his prediction about how the title race could end, noting that, upon comparing the two sides’ remaining fixtures, Arsenal could win the league comfortably.

“To be honest, I’ve been looking at it for a couple of months, and I think Arsenal have done very little to throw this title race away, and I think they’ll win it comfortably.”

Arsenal can only focus on themselves, which they’re doing by winning games regardless of performance level, but it’s difficult not to pay attention to Man City’s recent wobble.

Comparing Arsenal’s remaining fixtures to return results

Tunnel vision is what Arteta will want his players to adopt, and when looking at the tests that await Arsenal, it’s clear to see why.

Just seven games stand between Arsenal and Premier League glory after 22 years, and it’s so achievable.

Arsenal have only dropped points to one of their remaining seven opponents, being Man City, with the magnitude of the clash at the Etihad not even requiring an introduction.

The job is not done, but it’s in the Gunners’ hands if they just keep winning.
