Any occasion when we get to see Jacob Elordi on a red carpet is a good one, and tonight’s occasion is especially meaningful.
The actor’s attendance at the 2026 Academy Awards tonight comes as he is up for his first Oscar nomination of his career. The nod is due to his transformative performance as the Creature in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.
Of course, he didn’t look scary at all as he walked the Oscars red carpet. Instead, he was the definition of a rom-com lead in a black three-piece suit, white dress shirt, and black bow tie. Glossy black lace-up shoes, diamond stud earrings, and his flirty mustache capped off the look.
Only Elordi can make such a classic, timeless ensemble look totally fresh and shockingly hot.

At the Critics Choice Awards earlier this year, he won the award for Best Supporting Actor, for Frankenstein. At the AACTA International Awards, he won for Best Supporting Actor in Film. He also received nominations at the BAFTAs, Golden Globes, Actor Awards, Satellite Awards, and Saturn Awards.

The actor has also gotten recognition for his work in the miniseries The Narrow Road to the Deep North, and has been recently making headlines for his stylish Wuthering Heights press tour alongside co-star Margot Robbie. However, the sexy period drama, which was released last month, will enter into the next awards season.
