One of the world’s best-selling rock bands is coming Back in Black to Winnipeg.
AC/DC announced Monday they would be bringing their PWR UP Tour to Princess Auto Stadium on Sept. 20.
It’s the band’s first show in Winnipeg since a stadium show in 2015.
Since their formation in 1973, the band has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide and is best known for hard rock hits like Thunderstruck, Highway to Hell, and You Shook Me All Night Long.
Their most recent album, Power Up, was released in 2020
The Pretty Reckless is supporting AC/DC on the tour.
Tickets for the show go on sale on March 20, according to the band’s website. Other Canadian stops on the tour include Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.
