It’s the 2026 Oscars, a.k.a. Hollywood’s biggest, most glamorous night — and host Conan O’Brien knows exactly how to kick off the proceedings: with a pedophile joke. During his monologue, he made an Epstein/Prince Andrew joke to inject a little grit into the proceedings. “It’s the first time since 2012 that there are no British actors nominated for Best Actor or Best Actress,” O’Brien said. “The British spokesperson said, ‘Yeah, well, at least we arrest our pedophiles, so we’ve got that going for us.’” He’s referring to the ex-prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was arrested earlier this year in Britain on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

After this, O’Brien switched into a bit where Michael B. Jordan replaced all the seat fillers in a section. While holding people accountable is lovely, we prefer the sweet escape of imagining a world with infinite Michael B. Jordans.
