Judge Says Krafton Must Rehire Fired ‘Subnautica’ CEO

A judge said Monday that video-game publisher Krafton Inc. must reinstate Ted Gill less than a year after firing the former chief executive officer of subsidiary Unknown Worlds Entertainment, maker of the highly anticipated video game Subnautica 2.
In the ruling, the judge in Delaware Chancery Court said that Krafton had violated the terms of its contract with the leadership of the studio when it fired Gill and fellow executives Charlie Cleveland and Max McGuire, also the co-founders of Unknown Worlds, last year.
