Ronda Rousey takes shot at UFC exec Hunter Campbell amid surprising Nate Diaz announcement

Ronda Rousey has put UFC chief business officer Hunter Campbell on blast as more announcements are made for the undercard of her fight with Gina Carano.
On Monday, Most Valuable Promotions announced the addition of Nate Diaz vs. Mike Perry to the May 16 event set to be headlined by Rousey vs. Carano. The card has been filling up, as a heavyweight clash between Francis Ngannou and Philipe Lins had already been booked.
Following the Diaz vs. Perry announcement, Rousey took to her X account to praise the former UFC stars. She also took a shot at Campbell, which likely stems from failed negotiations for a UFC return prior to aligning with Most Valuable Promotions.
“Welcome to the revolution @NateDiaz209 @PlatinumPerry !! It’s the FIGHTERS vs the establishment – and we’re gunna win! May 16th only on @netflix P.S. #HunterCampbell pissed off the wrong [expletive], I’m coming for your job [expletive].”
Rousey has been critical of the UFC Freedom 250 card, which is scheduled to take place at the White House. “Rowdy” has put the blame on others within UFC and TKO as opposed to Dana White. She even shared her belief that White himself isn’t truly impressed with the card, which has received criticism.
“Rowdy” has been busy promoting her MMA return. This past Sunday, she made an unannounced appearance at the AEW “Revolution 2026” pay-per-view. Rousey had a staredown with “Timeless” Toni Storm, but the two didn’t get physical. Following the event, AEW founder Tony Khan told reporters that Rousey is welcome at his promotion any time.
Whether or not Rousey will ultimately have a match in AEW or even sign a contract with the promotion remains to be seen. For now, her attention will be on the Carano fight.
