Comcast’s Sky Offering U.K. Subs Free Access to Ad-Supported Disney+

March 17, 2026
Comcast-owned Sky is now offering select satellite TV customers in the United Kingdom free access to ad-supported Disney+, worth about $6.90 monthly.
The move follows February’s announcement of Sky bundling Disney+, HBO Max, Hayu and Netflix, alongside Sky TV, in a single subscription.
Sky customers with existing Disney+ subscriptions can move their current plan to Sky saving more than £70 a year, while keeping their profile and watch history. Customers can also choose to upgrade to ad-free Disney+ and pay the difference.
Sky entered 2026 with about 23 million paid subscribers across Europe, including 12.7 million in the United Kingdom and Ireland, 5 million in Italy, and 5 million in Germany and Austria.
Sky Cinema customers will get a new Disney+ Cinema channel, a collection of movies from Disney+, which includes films from Sky, Paramount+ and NBCUniversal.
With around 50 titles at launch, Disney+ will blend titles from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, with new movies every week. Films coming soon include Marvel Studios’ Iron Man, Deadpool and Wolverine, 20th Century Studios’ Death on the Nile and Alien: Romulus, Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo and Up, among others.
There will also be a handpicked selection of Disney+ titles on Sky’s linear channels, including Star Wars series “Andor,” FX’s “The Bear,” and the three-part original series “Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story.” Titles will air across Sky Atlantic, Sky One and Sky Witness for eligible Sky customers and NOW Entertainment customers.
