USA vs. Venezuela live score, updates: Venezuelans lead 2-0 after Abreu homer in World Baseball Classic 2026 final

Another Eduardo Rodríguez fun fact: is he the last person to turn down the Dodgers?
Back at the 2023 trade deadline, Rodríguez was a hot commodity and invoked his limited no-trade clause to block a trade from the Tigers to Dodgers. He cited wanting to stay close to his family in Florida. Since then, the Dodgers have gone on to blossom into a true behemoth.
Rodríguez signed a four-year, $80 million deal with the Diamondbacks (a team that happens to be located in the western U.S.) after reaching free agency. While the Dodgers have won two World Series, Rodriguez has posted a 5.02 ERA in 39 starts with the D-Backs.
Tonight though, is shaping up to be one of his best moments in years.
