FC Dallas vs Houston Dynamo: Lineup notes 📝

FC Dallas is back at home tonight at Toyota Stadium as they get ready to host Texas Derby rivals Houston Dynamo.

Lineups are in from both sides. Let’s dive into what Eric Quill’s starting group looks like, who is on the bench, and who we believe will see minutes later on in this one.

What Changed From Last Match

The big one has to be seeing Petar Musa on the bench in favor of Logan Farrington. The club has told me it is a minor knock for Musa that is keeping him from starting tonight.

Outside of Musa, Osaze Urhoghide returns to the lineup after being out last week. He’ll replace Sebastien Ibeagha in the lineup.

FC Dallas Lineup Notes:

Who should come off the bench?

I think we have to hope to see Musa at some point, even if it is for the final ten minutes of this one. Outside of that, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ibeagha, Patrickson Delgado, and Deedson in this one.

Key Question Heading Into Kickoff

Can FC Dallas close out the month on a positive note?

Winning at home is key right now with the looming nine-game road trip coming up starting in May. Dallas has to find ways to not drop points at home at the moment, and this is the perfect game to establish some momentum at home. Finding those moments in this one to go forward and finish the chances that the Dynamo will give up will be key, but also remaining composed in what will be a chippy rivalry match. This will certainly be a key game to show if this Dallas team is for real, or not.
