‘Commentators made it seem like Movsar was getting killed’: Pros react to Movsar Evloev’s UFC London main event win

Movsar Evloev may have gotten himself a title shot in the main event of UFC London, but he had to work for it — and not everyone seemed to agree with it.
Evloev remained undefeated by handing Lerone Murphy his first ever loss in the pivotal 145-pound matchup at O2 Arena in London. Two of the judges saw the fight 48-46, with the other scoring it 47-47 after Evloev was deducted a point for a low blow — meaning two of the judges gave Evloev four rounds.
Alexander Volkanovski is currently without an opponent as he seeks to defend the featherweight title for the second time of his new reign. “The Great” dominated Diego Lopes for the second straight time at UFC 325 in January, the same man he defeated to regain the title at UFC 314 this past April.
Following the bout, UFC and pro MMA fighters reacted to Evloev’s win, the fight, and much more. Check out their reactions below.
