Justin Timberlake Arrest Video Released – Friend Asked Cops For Leniency If They Loved “Sexyback”

It’s been almost two years since Justin Timberlake was arrested for a DWI in the Hamptons and we got the infamous quote, “This is gonna ruin the tour.” It did not ruin the tour and the charge ended up being dropped in a plea deal, which included a fine of $500 and 25 hours of community service. Now, the bodycam footage has been released despite the pop star’s attempts to block it.

Timberlake initially sued to block the release of the footage, calling it “an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy,” but this week his lawyers agreed to make it public with redactions. The video shows that when a Sag Harbor officer asked if he was visiting, he said he was on a world tour. The officer asked what he did on tour, and Timberlake answered, “It’s hard to explain. A world tour. I’m Justin Timberlake.” He either did not actually say the future meme “this is going to ruin the tour,” or it was redacted.

The video captures him struggling through sobriety tests, saying he’s “a little nervous” and that “my heart is racing.” He also said, “By the way, these are, like, really hard tests.”

The *NSYNC card was played by his friend Estee Stanley, who was driving behind Timberlake with her husband Bryan Furst after the group left The American Hotel. “Can you guys please just do me a favor ’cause you loved ‘Bye Bye Bye’ or ‘Sexyback’? Do me one favor,” she said, begging to give Timberlake his phone. It was reported at the time that she asked police, “You’re arresting Justin Timberlake right now?!” (Stanley was allowed to drive his rental car back to his lodging.)
