‘Sudden’ death in quiet Bristol neighbourhood

A person was found dead at a property in Bristol this morning (Tuesday, March 24) as police and ambulance crews were seen in St Annes around 9.30am.
A cordon was in place in the neighbourhood after the “sudden death”.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and the police cordon has been removed.

The person’s next of kin have not been contacted but police are working to locate them.

Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called to an address in St Annes Park, Bristol, following a sudden death at around 9.30am today (Tuesday 24 March).
“Officers attended alongside the ambulance service, and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
“A police cordon at the scene has been stood down.
“Enquiries to identify the person’s next of kin and inform them of what has happened are being prioritised.”
