I Did a Deep Dive to Find Out If Theresa and John From ‘Age of Attraction’ Are Still Together

Confession: I’m rooting for Theresa DeMaria and John Merrill from Age of Attraction, and I don’t care who knows it. This season’s cutest couple also happens to be one of the most controversial, since 54-year-old stylist Theresa is literally twice the age of 27-year-old software salesman John…not to mention that Theresa gave birth to the eldest of her three children before John was even alive. They definitely had the odds stacked against them but eventually decided (*spoiler alert*) to leave the experiment as a couple. The question is: Are Age of Attraction’s Theresa and John still together today?

Fans won’t know for sure until we get some sort of Age of Attraction reunion…but I did a deep dive into Theresa and John’s social media activity to see if I could find out where the two stand in 2026. (For the record: Age of Attraction season 1 was filmed back in early summer 2025.) And while neither has posted any spoilers, John did post a TikTok showing BTS moments of his real life “rom com” with Theresa, and she slid into the comments section with a bunch of red heart emojis…so that feels promising!

Plus, Theresa posted her own TikTok with clips from her Age of Attraction experience…and some never-before-seen moments with “the incredible man that is John.” Hmm…

“The experience of filming Age of Attraction—and meeting the incredible man that is John—was something I never saw coming,” she wrote. “I went into it hoping to find my person… but I walked away with something even deeper: clarity, growth, and a completely new perspective on love.”

During an appearance on The Viall Files following the season premiere, John opened up about meeting Theresa’s kids for the first time, and he said it was “not a big deal” to him that she didn’t reveal his age to them.

“I genuinely didn’t care,” he said, adding, “I thought of my parents, my sister, my friend group, my circle, and how supportive they are and still are, and…I thought, oh, my circle wouldn’t care how old she is. So why would her circle care how old I am?”

Iiinteresting!! Guess we’ll find out for sure where these two stand once the reunion airs next week!
