Final Injury Report for Heat-Cavaliers: Will Jarrett Allen, Max Strus Play?

The Cleveland Cavaliers are at home on Wednesday night as they host the Miami Heat in an Eastern Conference showdown.
Cleveland enters Wednesday’s game with a 45-27 record after defeating the Orlando Magic at home on Tuesday night.

In Tuesday’s victory over the Magic, Donovan Mitchell led the way for the Cavaliers as he recorded 42 points and three assists while James Harden added 26 points, three rebounds and seven assists of his own.
Now Cleveland will try to grab another victory on Wednesday as they face off against the Heat in a tough home matchup.
On the other side, Miami enters Wednesday’s contest with a 38-34 record after losing at home to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.

Norman Powell led the way for the Heat in Monday’s loss as he ended the game with 21 points and four rebounds off the bench while Bam Adebayo recorded 18 points, three rebounds and four assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, one side may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Heat Injury Report
For the Heat, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Terry Rozier.

Miami has ruled out Rozier as he remains away from the team as he has not played for them at all this season.
Outside of Rozier, the rest of the Heat’s injury report is clean, which has been a rare sight for Miami this season.

On the other side, the Cavaliers have five players listed on their injury report, including both Jarrett Allen and Max Strus.

Cleveland has ruled out Allen due to right knee tendonitis as he will miss his 10th consecutive game.

With Allen still sidelined, Thomas Bryant and Keon Ellis could both continue to have larger roles.

The Cavaliers have also ruled out Strus due to left foot injury management as they will elect to sit him on the second night of their back-to-back.
Jaylon Tyson has also been ruled out due to a left great toe bone bruise while Craig Porter Jr. remains sidelined with a groin strain.
Larry Nance Jr. has been listed as questionable due to an illness and he is in danger of missing his second straight game.
