There’s a new couple on King Street: Southern Charm-er Charley Manley is dating Justin Assad from Southern Hospitality.
Charley revealed her new relationship during Part 2 of the Southern Charm Season 11 reunion while breaking down the end of her romance with Craig Conover. Initially, she shared only that her new boyfriend is from Boston and works at a club, before Salley Carson spilled, “He’s on Southern Hospitality.”
That’s when Charley finally announced, “It’s Justin Assad, yeah.”

While the Season 11 newbie didn’t offer additional details, host Andy Cohen quickly pivoted to Craig, asking if he knew Charley’s new man. “Yeah, I always say hi to him when he comes in the bar,” Craig vaguely replied.
Clocking that Craig seemed to be deliberately holding back, Andy agreed to “move on,” before the Charmer opened up a bit more about his take on the timeline of Charley and Justin’s relationship.
Craig Conover claims Charley Manley was still “hanging out” with him when she started dating Justin Assad
Craig recalled how Austen Kroll had informed him of Charley’s new relationship during a trip to Las Vegas.
“Charley and I were still, like, hanging out, and finally Austen sat me down in Vegas,” Craig recounted. “He was like, ‘Dude, whatever she’s telling you that she’s not talking to someone, I met him.’ He’s like, ‘He’s real. She brought him to the bar and said, ‘I’m in love!””
Charley, for her part, insisted that she never told Craig that she “was not talking to anyone” other than him during their fling.

“I gave you a lot of chances to tell me you were talking to someone else, and you actually never did,” Craig shot back. “And then Salley was like, ‘Craig, you need to know that she’s talking to two other guys.’ And then I asked you. You took my hand and you said, ‘I’m not talking to anyone else.’ And then…”
That’s when Charley interjected to say, “I swear to God that did not happen.”
Andy, for his part, wondered why it would even matter since she and Craig were “broken up” at that point anyway. As Charley clarified, however, she and Craig “were not together” and had simply gone on two dates.
Though Craig agreed that he and Charley “were never dating,” by his account, he had been “strung on” and even “love bombed” by Charley. She denied both accusations, however.
Details on Justin Assad’s love life before Charley Manley
When Justin joined the Southern Hospitality cast for Season 4, which premiered on March 4, he was just settling in as the new VIP host at Leva Bonaparte’s Charleston hotspot Republic Garden & Lounge. Business and pleasure quickly became intertwined, however, as Justin’s love life quickly took center stage.
After stints in Boston, L.A., and Syndey, Australia, Justin ultimately found himself “at a crossroads” amid a breakup and returned to Charleston. “The relationship went south, so I said f–k it. I’ll go south too,” he explained on Southern Hospitality.
Justin, who previously appeared on a Netflix dating show in 2024, revealed that he was “head over heels” for his now-ex, but their relationship ended following what he described as a “a little threesome gone wrong.”
At the outset of his inaugural season on Southern Hospitality, Justin had a “friend with benefits” in bartender Jordyn, but he had also taken her new roommate, Molly Moore, on a date. Meanwhile, he also admitted to having a “a crush on” Mia Alario and had already playfully made out with Michols Peña and “old friend” TJ Dinch.
“I’ve exclusively dated women, but I think I’m 30 percent gay, depending on how many tequila sodas I have in me,” Justin shared in a confessional. “I remember watching Twilight back in the day, looking at Robert Pattinson and thinking that’s a guy I could get behind. Shoutout, tops. So, who knows? But no one’s 100 percent straight.”
