GG Jackson, Victor Wembanyama trade poster dunks on consecutive possessions

The game between the Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs has turned into an in-game slam dunk contest.

A highlight-filled game with monstrous and poster dunks reached its peak in the third quarter at FedExForum after a sequence between Grizzlies forward GG Jackson and Spurs center Victor Wembanyama.

Jackson crossed over Spurs wing Devin Vassell and sneaked a left-handed jam by the outstretched arms of the 7-foot-3 Wembanyama. Jackson posed and flexed before quickly getting back on defense.

A possession later, Wembanyama caused Taylor Hendricks to jump on a 3-point pump-fake and headed toward the rim. The 6-9 Jackson jumped, only to be put on Wembanyama’s poster.

Wembanyama and Jackson are both in their third NBA seasons after being picked in the 2024 draft (first overall and No. 45, respectively). Add this sequence to a long history of highlights between the Spurs and Grizzlies.
